I traded the ST4 in on the VFR at the beginning of February 2001 and so far I've had only one small problem which was fixed under warranty. That is, up until the tank slapper that buried both me and the bike under an on-coming Nissan Pulsar.

April 2002	22,837	24,000klm service (oil and filter changed, general tighten up of nuts, bolts, clamps, mounts, and all round check over, injectors tuned, air filter replaced, brake fluid, clutch fluid and coolant replaced, spark plugs replaced, checked valve clearances, replaced steering head bearings with the Honda tapered variety, replaced fork oil (10W). Rear had done 7,523klms, and probably could have gone another few hundred klms. The reason I replaced them both was because I had a big ride coming up that I didn't want stuffed tyres to interfere with, and I wanted to have a new properly matched set.	$197 + $275 = $472
